Hi! My name is Najah. I
am two years old and full of spunk. I love to be near my humans and
cuddle next to them. Not much is known about my past except that I have
neurological issues, probably due to a lower back injury. Because of
this, I don’t always know right away when I have to do my business. My
foster mommy takes me out a lot and is teaching me to do my business on
command with lots of praise. We have a doggie door that I will use
during the day, but sometimes I forget once she is home. She puts potty
pants on me during the evening for those "just in case" moments. I am
taking an inexpensive medicine twice a day to help strengthen my
bladder. I walk a little funny, but that is getting better with each
passing day as I gain muscle strength. Glucosamine also helps keep my
joints healthy. I have no problem going up and down stairs, but having
less stairs would be better for me in the long run.
I get along well with other dogs but would prefer to be in a home with
one other companion or me as your one and only. When I see a cat, I
bark; I just can’t help myself. It would be best if you didn’t have one.
I sleep in a crate at night with my toy; you won’t have to make space
for me in your bed. My ideal family would have lots of time for me, have
lots of patience with me, and be willing to do continued training to
help me become the best pug I can be. Is that you?? Please put Najah on
your application if you are the one.
