Dozer - adopted April 28, 2011

In a few short months, Dozer has become an extremely special part of our family. We absolutely love him.

Gus (formerly Hercules) - adopted July 31, 2011

We adopted five-year-old Hercules on July 31, 2011 but have since changed his name to Gus, and he’s so great. We just love him! He joined incumbent pugs Hazel and Otis (Otis was also a rescue back in 2007) and is now a very happy guy enjoying his daily walks, playing with sister Hazel, and barking at the Great Dane next door. Gus was given up (we think) because he needed surgery to remove a mast cell tumor and his owner couldn’t/wouldn’t pay for it. We’re glad that Pug Rescue did, because he’s completely recovered with an excellent prognosis. We’re looking forward to many more happy years with him.

Grace
Adopted January 1, 2011

Grace is our first pug, and I can tell you that she wont be our last. :-) I wish more people would consider the elder pugs. I'm so happy to see them listed on your adoption page.   --Beth Lazzelle

Chili (formerly Fatty)
Adopted December 12, 2010

We adopted Chili (fka "Fatty"), a black, male, eight-year-old pug, from the Colorado Pug Rescue in December. His younger "sister," Coco, loves spending time with him, and they keep each other honest and on their toes. Chili enjoys long walks in the park, snuggly time with the humans, and twirling when it's time to eat. It's been six months since he became part of our family, and we're starting to see more and more of that silly pug personality we've come to love and associate with the breed. We're so happy we made the decision to add a rescue pug to our family.
