Apply for Me

Hi, my name is Daisy. My foster mommy likes to call me Daisy Mae. I have spent my life working very hard in a puppy mill making lots of puppies. I am retired now at the tender age of five and have been spayed. I am soooo glad I do not have to make any more puppies!

I was kept outside in a cage, and my eyes had become very dry and infected. They were really bad when I was rescued, but the medicine my foster family is putting in my eyes is really helping them. Because of neglect in caring for my eyes, I am fairly blind and can only see light and shadow, but you’d be surprised at how well I get around. I just don’t do stairs. I will always need medicine for my eyes. I recently had a dental, so my teeth finally have had good care!

Even though people have worked me very hard making puppies, I love people very much and am so very sweet! I grow attached to anyone who gives me love and attention. I stay close to my foster mommy at all times and have learned how comfy it is to snuggle up in bed at night. I am a true pug in my heart and just want to spend all my time with someone who will be my best friend.

I am having so much fun learning what it means to live like a regular dog. I play with my foster mommy every morning and love these new things called rawhides! I am really improving at walking on a leash, although I am a little scared in unfamiliar places because I can’t see so well. My housetraining is really impressive! I am so glad to have a normal doggie life now, and I am looking for my new forever home where my family will love me and take good care of me. Will you put Daisy on your application?
