Hi, I'm Bella. I am about five years old and spent most of my life caged and producing puppies at a puppy mill until I was turned over to CPR. I am crate trained and can use a doggie door, and I am beginning to recognize my name. Because I'm still learning about stairs, I only climb two or three right now, not an entire staircase. I love to cuddle with the other dogs in my foster home.

Now that I am seeing the world from outside a cage, I find it fascinating. I am excited to be around people, and I love to be picked up and held. I'm still trying to grasp the concept of toys.

My foster mom is working on housetraining with me and teaching me to walk on a leash. She says I am quick to learn, very curious and very smart.
